Sleazy. Liar. Dishonest. The perfect example of the car salesman we ALL HATE. BEWARE!!!
It wont let me post this review without clicking a star. This place deserves -5 stars. I am not sure who I spoke to but the lady who answered the phone was UNBELIEVABLY rude to me. She told me to f*** off and to take my car somewhere else if I didn't like the answers she was giving me. All I wanted was a paper that stated what work was done on my car and all she could say was, "we f***in stand behind our vehicles, b****!" I do not recommend EVER going to this dealership to buy a car or have work done on your car. I will be taking further steps to have this place investigated for their work and sales they present to the public.
Listen, the FACT is Dana is a pathological liar. And I say this after having gotten a half decent truck - assuming I was one of the lucky ones upon having read nothing but HORRID reviews. The reason I know he's a liar is because during our conversations he lied about things you needn't lie about, which I found really odd. He lied about the air conditioner and said he'd fix it before I picked it up. He said he was waiting for a part. Well, the day I was picking it up he said the he had taken the part out of another vehicle and put the used part in my truck because the new part didn't get there in time. I take the truck home a and, of course, the AC is blowing warm air. I email him knowing full well he did nothing to fix it. I ask him if the AC merely needed freon, to which he said, more than likely that was the issue. Dana, what happened to this mystery part you told me it needed and that you replaced with a used one? Bottom line: He never bothered to repair anything because he's a liar. One HUGE concern EVERYONE needs to worry about is the finance company he uses - Credit Acceptance. Do a Google search for these criminals and you'll be appalled at the hundreds/thousands of complaints against them. People paying off vehicles and not receiving titles or having the vehicle repo'ed after paying it off, then being forced to pay hundreds for towing fees to retrieve the vehicle. HORRIBLE customer service where employees curse at them, put them on hold for 20, 30 or more minutes, getting hung up on, and the list goes on and on and on. This is literally a criminal cartel funding these vehicles. Now, I have payments taken directly from my checking, so "thus far" I've had no issues in a year and a half, but I am just waiting for them to try some of this B.S. with me. I will have BBB, FTC and an attorney so far up their asses they'll be forced to fly right. I've done it before with other crooks like this and it worked like a charm. My advice - STAY AWAY FROM DANA AND ANY BUSINESS HE TRIES TO CONDUCT WITH YOU. Trust me on this. He has mental illness that needs addressing. Oh and, suddenly he packed his entire operation in Rowley up and disappeared. The place is abandoned. Not sure what's up with that.
Bought a SUV from D&D. Was told it was in perfect condition. Within a day or two power steering went. I took it to a local mechanic who found a few thousand dollars worth of needed repairs (almost as much as the purchase price), all safety and inspection related. The vehicle failed inspection spectacularly. Dana disagreed with the assessment, said he would have all the issues addressed at his brother's shop. We scheduled a time to take the car to his shop to look it over but when I showed up he blew me off by being out buying new inventory. Oh, he also charged me $1800 for the extended warranty that was supposed to be included in price, according to a written ad. In every conversation we had prior to purchase and throughout the discussions about all these problems, EVERY statement made was either exaggerated, omitted important details or was utterly false. I learned later that this is his reputation around here and I can't imagine how he stays in business. Initially he refused to cancel the deal and refund my deposit until I threatened a lawsuit. I got most of my money back in the end. I don't know why you would go to D&D but DO NOT buy anything without having it checked out by a reputable shop first.
I was trying to figure out why they weren't advertising mileage on some of their vehicles. I was told on the phone it was because they completely overhauled the engines and transmissions and basically everything else. I don't believe it and still don't think that gives you the right to advertise the mileage as being 500 mi. on 2010 year model vehicles. Who said you could do that? Thank you reviewers, I am taking your advice and going somewhere reputable. I feel like I just dodged a bullet.
